What inspired you to publish your book?
Desperation is what inspired me to write Nook Notes. I was desperate to be in His presence. I was desperate to know more of Jesus. I wanted to know His thoughts. What He liked. What He doesn’t like. How He responds. How He thinks. I was just desperately in love……with Him.
What can readers take away from your book?
I pray that readers finish this book with a greater understanding of who God is & who He has called them to be. I pray that this book reunites the backslider to Him & provokes readers to give an eternal “YES” to the Father.
What was your writing process like?
When I started writing, I didn’t realize that God would use my devotion time with Him & turn it into a book of devotionals & prayers. There was a lot of quiet time. I was withdrawn from my “normal” & in solitude with Him for a season.
Are you planning to write other books?
I would love to write more books & I am open to whatever God has planned.
What's a cool or interesting fact about yourself?
I LOVE trying different desserts & new restaurants.
What is some advice you would give aspiring or first-time authors?
For aspiring or first-time authors, I would suggest being authentic to yourself & to your gift.
